These WISE Payment Terms (“Terms”) supplement our standard Terms of Service and apply exclusively to orders paid via WISE. By selecting WISE as your payment method, you agree to these Terms in addition to our standard Terms of Service. Please note that we accept payments only in USD and ship only within the contiguous United States (CONUS).
1. Payment Requirement, Timeliness, and Exact Amount
- Exact Amount Requirement: The total order amount is the exact sum that must be credited to our designated WISE account. Your order will not be processed until the full, exact amount is confirmed as received.
- Timeliness of Payment: In line with our standard payment terms, funds must be sent promptly. If the required funds are not received within the specified timeframe (see Section 2), your order will remain on hold and may ultimately be canceled.
- Shortfalls: If the funds received are less than the order total (a “shortfall”), you, as the customer, are responsible for providing the additional amount needed to meet the exact total.
- Overages: If the funds received exceed the order total (an “overage”), Aurora Gold will return the excess to you via WISE, less any applicable WISE fees incurred in processing the refund.
2. Payment Methods and Processing Timelines
- WISE Balance Payments:
- Orders funded using your existing WISE balance will be processed immediately upon verification that the exact funds have been credited.
- Card or Bank Transfer Payments via WISE:
- For funds sent using a Card or Bank Transfer, your order will be processed after a review period of 24 hours from the time the exact funds are confirmed in our WISE account.
- Aurora Gold reserves the right to extend this review period if additional verification or review is required for security or compliance purposes.
3. Order Processing and Verification
- Fund Verification: No order will be initiated until we have verified that the exact amount due has been received in our WISE account.
- Review Process: For payments made via Card or Bank Transfer, the 24-hour review period allows for necessary verification of fund authenticity. Should any discrepancies or concerns arise, Aurora Gold may contact you for further information or delay processing accordingly.
4. Order Cancellation and Delayed Processing
- Non-Processing Without Exact Funds: Orders for which the received funds do not match the exact order total will remain on hold and will not be processed until the shortfall is resolved or any overage is refunded per Section 1.
- Right to Cancel: Aurora Gold reserves the right to cancel any order if:
- The full required amount is not received within the stipulated timeframe,
- Discrepancies arise during the verification or review process,
- Additional review deems further processing necessary for security or compliance reasons.
5. Fraud Prevention and ID Verification
- Fraud Prevention: Aurora Gold reserves the right to request additional documentation and verification for any order that appears suspicious or inconsistent with previous transaction history. Orders may be delayed or canceled if any fraudulent activity is suspected.
- ID Verification: For orders processed through WISE using Card or Bank Transfer, Aurora Gold may require verification of your identity, including but not limited to a government-issued photo identification, proof of address, and verification of the payment method. Failure to provide such verification upon request may result in the cancellation of your order.
6. Prohibited Uses
- Prohibited Activity: You may not use WISE or any associated payment method for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, using stolen funds, engaging in misrepresentation, or attempting to circumvent our verification procedures.
- Consequences: Any violation of this section may result in the immediate cancellation of your order and potential legal action.
7. OFAC Compliance
- Compliance with U.S. Sanctions: Aurora Gold adheres to all applicable U.S. sanctions laws, including those enforced by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
- Prohibition of Restricted Transactions: Orders from individuals, entities, or countries listed on any OFAC restricted or SDN list are strictly prohibited. Aurora Gold reserves the right to cancel any order if it is determined that the customer is subject to OFAC sanctions.
8. Currency Conversion and Exchange Rate Disclaimers
- Currency Conversion: If your order involves a currency conversion (for example, if your payment method applies a conversion to USD), the amount credited to our WISE account will be subject to WISE’s current exchange rates.
- Exchange Rate Fluctuations: You acknowledge that any fluctuations in the exchange rate may affect the final credited amount. Aurora Gold will only process an order once the exact USD amount is received.
9. Fee Structure and Deductions
- Processing Fees: Any fees or deductions imposed by WISE (including currency conversion fees, transaction fees, or other processing charges) will be deducted from the amount sent.
- Responsibility for Fees: You are responsible for ensuring that the net amount credited to our WISE account equals the exact order total. In cases of overages caused solely by fee deductions, Aurora Gold will refund the excess via WISE, less the applicable fees.
10. Dispute Resolution Related to Payment Transfers
- Payment Disputes: Any disputes arising from payment transfers (such as chargebacks or reversals) will be handled in accordance with our standard dispute resolution procedures as outlined in our Terms of Service.
- Finality of Payment: Once the exact funds have been verified as received, the payment is considered final, and any subsequent disputes regarding the transfer will not delay order processing unless otherwise required by law.
11. AML, KYC, and Regulatory Compliance
- Regulatory Compliance: All transactions processed through WISE are subject to applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
- Documentation Requirements: Aurora Gold reserves the right to request additional documentation to comply with these regulatory requirements. Failure to provide such documentation may result in the cancellation or delay of your order.
12. Transaction Reversals and Chargebacks
- Reversals/Chargebacks: If a payment is reversed or a chargeback is initiated after the funds have been credited, the order will be canceled and you remain responsible for ensuring that the exact funds are available to complete the order.
- Customer Liability: You are liable for any costs, fees, or additional amounts necessary to restore the exact order total in our WISE account following such reversals or chargebacks.
13. Privacy and Data Handling
- Payment Information: By using WISE as a payment method, you acknowledge that your payment information is processed in accordance with WISE’s Customer Agreements.
- Data Handling: Please review the WISE Terms & Conditions for details on how WISE collects, processes, and secures your data. Use of WISE for payment implies acceptance of those practices.
14. Integration with Standard Terms
These WISE Payment Terms are intended to supplement and work in conjunction with Aurora Gold’s standard Terms of Service, which are available at https://auroragoldshop.com/terms-of-service/. In the event of any conflict, these Terms shall govern for orders paid via WISE.
15. Amendments
Aurora Gold reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of WISE as a payment method will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.
