3. PRICING

The pricing in this industry can be volatile due to changes in commodity prices, supply chain, and consumer demand. Published prices and rates are to be used as indications only and are not offers to buy or sell until they have been confirmed with the trading desk or electronically through Aurora Gold’s website. Buy and sell offers over the phone with the trading desk are valid for the duration of the phone call only and thereafter withdrawn. Aurora Gold is under no obligation to honor a price on a later phone call but rather will reissue a new quote, which could be the same as the original or different based on market conditions.

4. PAYMENT TIMELINESS AND METHODS

Upon the successful placement of an order through our website, you are required to complete the payment within a strictly enforced window of 10 minutes. This prompt payment policy is critical for orders processed using the “Zelle/Other” payment option, reflecting the time-sensitive nature of precious metal trading and the need to secure current market prices.

4.1 FOR PAYMENTS MADE VIA ZELLE

  • Upon checkout, detailed instructions for completing a Zelle payment will be clearly displayed. It is imperative that you promptly execute these instructions, mindful of any transactional limits or restrictions imposed by your banking institution regarding Zelle payments. Failure to complete the payment within the stipulated timeframe may result in the order being voided.

4.2 FOR PAYMENTS UTILIZING THE “OTHER” OPTION

  • If you select the “Other” payment method under the “Zelle/Other” option, it is mandatory to coordinate payment arrangements with our trading desk prior to order placement. This pre-arrangement ensures that all parties have a clear understanding of the payment process and any specific conditions applicable. 5. CREDIT CARD PAYMENT OPTION

Aurora Gold may, at its discretion, accept payments via credit card for certain transactions. However, the availability of credit card payment is not guaranteed for all purchases or services and is subject to specific approval criteria.

5.1 ID VERIFICATION AND ADDRESS MATCHING REQUIREMENTS

To request payment via credit card, customers must:

  1. Contact Aurora Gold directly at 630-281-9169 to express their interest in using a credit card for payment.
  2. Undergo a mandatory ID Verification process. This process is designed to protect both the customer and Aurora Gold from fraudulent transactions. Customers will be asked to provide valid, government-issued photo identification to confirm their identity.
  3. Ensure that the shipping address provided for the order matches the billing address associated with the credit card being used for the transaction. This requirement is in place to further secure the transaction and prevent fraud.

Approval of credit card payment requests is at the sole discretion of Aurora Gold. We reserve the right to refuse the credit card payment method for any transaction without providing a reason. The decision to allow payment by credit card will be made on a case-by-case basis, considering the completion of the ID Verification process and the consistency of billing and shipping addresses among other factors.

Please note, the acceptance of credit card payments may be subject to additional terms, conditions, and processing fees. Customers will be informed of these details and any requirements during the review process of their request.

6. SHIPPING POLICY FOR PURCHASES

Shipping Methods: We use various shipping methods, including FedEx, UPS, and USPS. The choice of shipping method will depend on the value and size of the order, at Aurora Gold’s Discretion.
Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are flat rate. Aurora Gold may charge a flat rate shipping and handling fee that is greater than the price of the label.
Insurance: All shipments are fully insured for their replacement value during transit. Customers are encouraged to review the insurance coverage details provided at checkout.

7. RETURN AND REFUND POLICY FOR PURCHASES

Eligibility: All sales are final for bullion and precious metal products due to market volatility. Returns and refunds are only available for items that are defective or not as described. 

Process: Customers must contact Aurora Gold within 7 days of receiving the item to initiate a return. The item must be returned in its original packaging, and a refund will be issued after the item is inspected and confirmed to be in the original condition.

8.10 LARGE ORDERS

Orders that exceed a total value of $50,000.00 are considered “Large Orders” by Aurora Gold. Please note that this threshold may be subject to change in the future at our discretion.

  • For Large Orders, Aurora Gold may require an upfront deposit ranging from 20% to 50% of the total order value before locking in the Spot Price for the trade. It’s important for customers to understand that we exclusively handle trades of this magnitude over the phone to ensure accuracy and security. 9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The customer agrees that any claims, disputes, or controversies between the customer and Aurora Gold arising from any of the Terms & Conditions outlined above shall be resolved through binding arbitration. The arbitration will be conducted in Illinois, in the English language. Arbitration will be administered by either JAMS pursuant to its Comprehensive Arbitration Rules & Procedures or by the American Arbitration Association pursuant to its rules and procedures for commercial arbitration, at the option of the first party to file arbitration. The arbitration will be governed by the applicable provisions of these Terms & Conditions.

  • The customer and Aurora Gold agree to maintain the confidentiality of the arbitration proceeding and the award, except as necessary in connection with a judgment entry on an award, a judicial challenge to an award or its enforcement, or unless otherwise required by law or judicial decision.
  • The customer and Aurora Gold waive any right to arbitrate any dispute or to pursue relief against the other in a class arbitration or other representative proceeding, and agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity. Further, unless Aurora Gold and the customer agree otherwise in writing, the arbitrator may not consolidate or join more than one person’s claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding. Any decision rendered in such arbitration is binding on each party, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Fees and expenses of the arbitrator and arbitration will be divided equally between the parties. Each side shall be responsible for paying their own attorney’s fees, except in the event of default by the customer as described above in the section on Market Loss and Forward Transactions. In case of default, the customer will be responsible for Aurora Gold’s attorney fees, legal costs, and fees for the arbitrator in addition to the default amount. Should the customer bring actions against Aurora Gold other than through arbitration, the customer shall be responsible for all legal and other expenses incurred by Aurora Gold, including but not limited to attorney’s fees. Should the customer fail to abide by the ruling of the arbitrator, the customer is responsible for all legal and other expenses to recover, enforce, and defend the award made by the arbitrator.
